The WordPress REST API provides an interface for applications to interact with your WordPress site.

Wordpress Pack

Obtaining your application password (API key)

To obtain your application password (API key) do the following:

Navigate to your wordpress admin site
Navigate to users
Click on 'edit' for the user you wish to generate the application password for
Scroll down to Application Passwords
Enter a new application name and click Add New Application Password
Copy the Application Password (API key)

Then fill this in the app_password of the integration and provide the username under which the application password was generated.
